Message from the Executive Chairman

Safari World was founded in 1988 and we are celebrating its 30th anniversary. Thirty years ago this area was a rice field, vast expanses of paddies without a single tree. Today, as if magically transformed into a stunning forest, Bangkok’s Safari World is now surrounded by a variety of large trees giving shade and providing a refreshing, breezy atmosphere for enjoyable walks in our expansive forest park.  

For thirty year we have received encouragement and support from domestic and international tourists, tour agents, schools, educational institutions, government agencies, big corporations, industries, and other organizations. All together, we have welcomed more than 60 million people. We consider all of these people our inspiration and motivation for helping us stand where we are today.

Safari World may not yet be a zoo of perfect, World-class standards, but we are determined to be one of the best tourist attractions in the world. We strive to be full of joyful adventures, which bring happiness to those in Bangkok.

Safari World isn’t just another zoo. It is comprised of an open park which offers the sole pleasure of observing wildlife, reserve animals, protected animals, and exotic animals from all over the world. We also have seven international shows, seven stages, and many other activities for tourists to enjoy. On top of all this, a variety of delicious food is offered for everyone to enjoy and complete any guest’s visit.

Over the years, Safari World has been honored by the Thai government and world-class organizations as an international tourist destination in the form of many distinguished awards. With more than ten prestigious awards under our belt, we are pleased to be named One of Asia’s Best Theme Parks, and One of Bangkok’s Most Interesting Attractions. We are honored to receive an International Platinum Star for Quality, a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, a Gold Award for Excellence and Business Prestige, and much more.   

We value all praise and commendations, which we receive for being a beautiful place to visit with excellent service. In recent years, 80 to 90% of international tourists now choose Safari World as one of the first attractions they visit in Bangkok. This demonstrates the popularity of our park within a wide range of nationalities, religions, ages, and income levels of guests from around the world.

This 30th anniversary does not mark a time for us to pause and relax, rather a time for us to become even more dedicated to being creative and adding new things to bring happiness, fun, entertainment, and knowledge to our guests. We regard the happiness of our visitors as a gift with which our visitors reward us. “With you, there’s us” is the motto that is etched in our hearts.
